Teodor works mostly on stage and had never had a portrait taken that he liked. His complaint about every previous one was the same: they all looked like an audition.
So we did the opposite of an audition. No smiling on command, no shoulder turn, no chin. He stood there and we talked about a production he had just closed until he forgot the camera was on a tripod two metres away.
