Halvorsen & Bakke wanted the partners photographed the way the firm actually presents itself: level, unsmiling and slightly formal, without tipping into the grey-suit-and-crossed-arms genre.
We used a three-quarter turn on everyone so the set reads as one page rather than a row of passport photographs, and kept the background a stop brighter than the individual work so the frames hold together at small sizes on a directory listing.
